DETROIT (MarketWatch) — Ford Motor Co. (F) will unveil next month a hands-free Bluetooth wireless system and in-vehicle operating system developed by Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) as an option for its entire Ford brand lineup. The system will integrate some of the features of a personal computer into a car’s cockpit, according to sources familiar with the auto maker’s plans.

Old Pictures…

This is a site I found through digg. It is several collections of old photos that are organized into themes. The link originally pointed to some color photos of England from around 1890, However, I moved around and found that there are a lot of Old color and B&W photos that are captivating. Some dating from late 1800’s to 1950s.

Merry Christmas…Happy Holidays

The Christmas feeling…spirit…whatever you want to call it…Finally got to me at mass this afternoon. After Communion, as I was leaving the alter rail, there was a gentlemen at the stairs and he wished me “Merry Christmas” For some reason, that moment, just clicked with me. I hope it does for you too today.

I recently received an email from The Beatles. (Not a personal one) and something struck me as funny….

It is one thing to consider videos and things passed around the internet as Viral Marketing. However it is another for marketing material to refer to something that they are offering as viral. Doesn’t have the same ring to it, and it shows their hand a bit. “Here you do the work for us.”

Name of final Harry Potter book announced

Whoa…Something for you fellow Harry Potter fans out there…looks like we at least have the name of the book. No Dates or other information other than the Title.

I personally am looking forward to the next movie.

Rudolph & Santa: RESTORATION FINISHED!

I have always loved the Rankin/Bass stop motion holiday specials. I have seen the pictures of the original puppets in disarray and they looked bad. However it looks like they have now been restored! Check out the link below to see pictures of them in all their original glory.

The original Rankin/Bass Ani-Magic Puppets of Rudolph and Santa from the 1964 TV special, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer have finished their restoration process. The puppets spent the early half of this year residing among other modern day stop-motion puppets in one of Hollywood’s leading animation studios where experts in puppet construction and preservation have been meticulously working to restore them to their original specifications. This includes detailed cleaning, careful repair of broken parts and reconstruction of a few minor missing costume pieces. Now finished the puppets arel be back in working condition, able to stand and pose as they were originally designed. For the first time in 40 years, Rudolph’s nose can once again light the night with his famous red glow.
