What if Microsoft Gave Away Vista?

This would prove to be interesting, but I have my doubts. Purchasing is a form of validation. I think that is a lot of why Linux isn’t on more desktops.

Ubuntu has it Covered.

As you can see from the quote below, it looks like Ubuntu wants to release something that will compete with Windows Vista when it comes out. From what I have seen using Ubuntu…it could happen.

Microsoft strong arms a student and looses.

I love these kinds of stories. Seems that Microsoft tried to sue a student for $143 and some change because be purchased an educational version of XP and Office for $60, and sold it on eBay for more…But there is more to it than that…he was denied a refund from the Store and Microsoft.

BTW Zamos, you have a choice, it is called Linux.
