LWIF Ep245 – It’s Wild Out Here

I’m absolutely loving my new mountain house! The weather has been perfect for working outside on the deck in my gazebo. The transition to a smaller space has been an adjustment, but it’s working out well so far. Soon, I’ll have an outdoor office built for recording and taking meetings. Tonight, I heard coyotes howling nearby, which brought back memories of camping with the scouts. It’s all part of the mountain life experience!

LWIF Ep244 – Blues Brothers

I was excited to see the Perseid meteor shower and stayed up late on August 11th to watch it. Unfortunately, I only saw a couple of meteors and went back to bed. I tried again in the morning but still didn’t see much. Later in the day, I went to a winery with my wife and friends. The winery had a beautiful view and a Blues Brothers tribute band was playing.

I talk about the harrowing drive to my friend’s house amidst falling trees and the power outages that followed. The host of the podcast is excited to be in their new mountain house in Hendersonville, North Carolina. They recently moved from their primary residence and have been working hard to get everything settled.
