The Friends in Tech podcast group have put together a Christmas Special for Geeks. This is not your Fathers Christmas Carol and if you are a geek at all you will find something in here for you.
Specifically, Imagemagick Rocks. I just re-sized and converted 225 Tiffs to Gifs in about 1 minute or less. Then I wrote a script to normalize the filenames to the standard I was shooting for in about and ran it in 2 minutes.
I just had to throw that out there today. 😉
Pretty cool… Friday night it looks like a 10 year old that was granted three wishes on the tv show of the same name, got to hang with Bill at the MS Campus.

I think that everyone with an internet connection and email have probably seen the video of the Christmas Light show with the rocking music. I mean it is the hotest thing going in email since, “Meslissa”, or “I Love you”.
Anyway, because of the Big Media Coverage, it has caused so much attention that everyone wants to see it…and it is all fun and games until someone gets hurt.

Don Adams, the wry-voiced comedian who starred as the fumbling secret agent Maxwell Smart in the 1960s television spoof of James Bond movies, “Get Smart,” has died. He was 82.
